  • The reactor can be installed in the indoor or outdoor, the service ambient temperature, -40 ~ +40 ℃, the altitude is no higher than 1000m. The installation site should be clean, no toxic anf corrosive gases and steam, no conductive or explosive dust, no closed loop metal components about 1.1 times the outside diameter distance.
  • The parallel reactor applies to power system, and is usually installed in the end booster stations, the middle focal point of the HV long-distance transmission lines, and the coverter station of HVDC, parallel connected with the 66V or below LV circuit of the substation. It has the function of compensation grid reactive power, reducr grid loss, improve transmission ability and limit grid resonance over voltage, prevent electrical discharge motor self-excitation, eliminate no-load long-term capacitance effect and HV cable capacitance effect, inhibit working frequency over voltage, and thus can save energy and improve the stability and reliablity of power system operation. Parallel reactors together with shunt capacitor, large capacity thyristor and computer control system forms the staticreactive compensation device and can timely dynamically regulate the reactive of the power system.
