Zhen Liu's correspondent report: after six months of carefully dectection, on June 30, with close coordination and continuous fightingChongqing Nanan Power Supply Bureau and Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau police station south bank branch Ying Lung successfully cracked a series of steal power ransformer cases of criminal gangs, arresting 10 criminal suspects, cracked 18 cases, providing a safe operation environment for power grids, and a security guarantee for industrial and agricultural production of electricity use.

a series of transformer theft cases happend from last September to December in less than four months of time, in the area south coast of the southern bank power supply, Banan district, the copper core of dozens of transformers were scrapped, and therefore for a time, the spare transformers are urgently needed,the safety of power grids & electricity production are all urgently needed, which brings a unstabllity to the society.

the south coast safeguard bureau takes a lot of steps in order to solve the case: they take measures to increase communication with the public security organs, field visits to understand the situation, have explored the crime of theft of transformer. According to the reflection of nearby residents, they know that the time of stealing transformers are usually late at night's 1-5 o'clock, the general staff theft is more than three people, the criminals telephoned each other to steal the transformer, and rent the taxi or minibus to transport and sell the transformer. The safeguard bureau and the Ying Long police station set up a team to arrest the theft and using technical means of communication for the control of road at night in remote areas and villiages, make the great efforts to end the crime.

At 1:00 on December 5, 2007, the criminal gang drove a silver white minibus to the crossroads of south coast area Changsheng and Ying Long town, ready to steal the CNEKE transformer products in a cerain chemical plant. The prepared police arrested them. The four criminals admits the crimes.

In order to thoroughly eradicate the criminal gangs of transformer and arrested all the people involved, the police ferreted out the complice.

The other remaining six complice are arrested after hard work and investigation of police. The group committed all sorts of crimes, rampant crime nearly hald a year was at last completely eliminated. And all the criminals have been transfered to the judiciary to await the severe punishment.

The case give a good lesson to the industry. CNEKE think that the power company can only ensure the power grid running safe by improving the quality of defense and further strengthening synergies with the public security.
